Claim your base so nobody else can build there, break blocks or open your chests. Claims work everywhere except the spawn world.
Making a claim
- Hold your Claiming Shovel from the starter basket (any golden shovel works too).
- Right-click one corner of your land, then the opposite corner. Or stand in the middle and type .
- Done. The glowing blocks show your claim's edges. Right-click with a stick to see claims near you.
A claim costs claim blocks, one per block of ground: a 10 by 10 claim costs 100.

Claim flags
Stand in your claim and type , then click a switch to turn it on or off:

New claims start safe: no explosions or mobs breaking blocks and no fire spreading.
