The chat line
A chat line reads: badge, rank, name, chat tag, message. For example: ★ ꜱᴀɪʟᴏʀ Pip [Boat Buddy] » ahoy!
- Badge: staff wear a gold crown; Star members wear a gold ★.
- Hover a name to see their rank, money, Carrots and playtime. Click it to start a private message.
Private messages

Click a private message you got to answer it.
Ignoring someone
hides everything from that player: their chat, their private messages, and they can't send you teleport requests, payments, hugs or marriage proposals. Type it again, or , to stop. shows everyone you ignore; click a head to stop ignoring them.
They aren't told you ignore them: to them it looks like you switched that thing off. Staff can't be ignored.
Your settings
puts every personal switch in one menu. Click one to turn it on or off:

The menu also lists the players you ignore.
Chat tags
Pick a tag with . There are 27 tags at 300 Carrots each in : Carrot Cruncher, Fluffball, Boat Buddy, Sea Breeze, Pirate Bun, Seashell, $$$, COOL, SWAG, GOAT, W, GG, VIBES, SLAY, CHILL, ANGEL, DEVIL, CUTE, :3, <3, UwU, COZY, COMFY, zZz, ^-^, BESTIE and SILLY.
Star members can wear every one of them while Star lasts. Most Wanted only comes from the Bounty Crate.
Chat links
Put one of these in square brackets in any chat message and people can hover or click it:

What a click opens is a look-only copy from when you sent the message: nobody can take anything out of it. Links last 15 minutes, up to 3 per message.
Chat games
Every 20 minutes, while at least 2 players are on, a game pops up in chat: unscramble a word, reverse one, fill in the missing word, quick-type a code, a sum, or trivia. The first right answer within 30 seconds wins 1 Carrot.
